'Fitness is crucial for all players to work on because it allows us to perform at our best for the whole match. Without proper stamina we would be useless to our team because we wouldn\'t have the energy to make a play. Here are 3 drills to improve your stamina: 1. Full field intervals: Sprint the full field in 20-30 sec and jog back in 60 sec. Repeat for 8-10 reps 2. 25yd shuttle runs: set up 5 cones 5 yds apart for a total of 25yds. Sprint to each cone and back in 30-60 sec then rest for 30 sec. Repeat for 3-5 reps 3. Conditioning square: set up 4 cones in a square 10 yds apart. Jog one lap, sprint half a lap, sprint the whole lap. Then immediately go into 10 push ups, crunches, and squats. Repeat for 3-5 reps.
