Seems Chris Hemsworth isn’t quite ready to socially isolate just yet as he caught some waves in Australia, despite social-distancing rules being in place amid the coronavirus outbreak. ‘You can socially distance in the sea’ is what basically everyone in Australia is saying right now as they continue to head to the beach amid the heat, despite the deadly spread of Covid-19. But before he bunkers down in his multi-million-dollar Byron Bay mansion and waits out the Covid-19 pandemic that has killed thousands around the world, Chris wanted to fetch some gnarly froth. Getting to grips with his board, the Thor star expertly manoeuvred some waves on Monday. With dolphins diving in and out of the water alongside him, Chris looked right at home among the undulating salt. The 36-year-old was then joined by some pals as he had a giggle while peeling off his wetsuit in the carpark – hopefully keeping 1.5metres away from one another in the process. Wrapping a towel around himself, it’s clear we all had front-row tickets to the gun show as the frankly offensively- ripped star showed off his 20-pack abs. Eh, if you’ll just give us half an hour, we’re going to do Joe Wicks PE workout…again… Chris himself is making sure we’re on top of our fitness as we’re forced to live a life of isolation with the gyms closing, as he offered his workouts for free amid the social lock-down recently. Last week he announced that until the end of the month you can sign up for six weeks of his Centr app content for free. ‘There’s a lot of fear, anxiety and uncertainty in the world at the moment. You’re probably stuck at home so I wanted to give everybody full access for free to my fitness app over the next six weeks,’ Chris said. He added: ‘So times like this when there’s a lot of uncertainty running through your head, I think now more than ever is when we need to focus on what I believe to be the three key pillars to living healthier and happier – movement, nutrition, and mental fitness.’ While the star is often seen surfing or keeping active with the three kids he shares with wife Elsa Pataky, India, seven, and twins Sasha and Tristan, six, his beachside outing comes as his Hollywood comrades urge the rest of us to stay at home. With Hollywood clearly not immune to contracting the deadly condition, with Tom Hanks and Idris Elba two stars to publicly reveal they’ve tested positive, here’s hoping Chris pumped that hand-sanitiser following his surfing sesh, eh?
