'Planks have become a necessity for the strengthing of your core. To perform a plank, you simply extend your elbows out onto a flat surface, while supporting your bodyweight with your forearms. Please make sure that you are able to keep your lower back extremely straight. To make the plank more difficult, you can extend both elbows until they are at eye level.
