'(1 Jul 2019) NICOLE RICHIE AND RACHEL ZOE ATTEND GIAMBATTISTA VALLI EXHIBITION The Italian couturier Giambattista Valli decided to do an exhibition of his latest haute couture collection rather than a runway show, and showed the dresses on mannequins in the historic salons of the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris on Monday afternoon. His coterie of loyal fans, from the Italian socialite Bianca Brandolini d\'Adda to American fashion designer Rachel Zoe, wandered from one salon to another, admiring his creations. Showing the dresses still and close up gave people a chance to study the designer\'s technique in pleats and embroidery, draping and volumes. The stillness also meant that every piece had to be perfect. \"It\'s a moment of introspection,\" explained Valli. \"I went into the language of the haute couture, and the atelier of Giambattista Valli.
