'How to bench press and how to bench press correctly - a very common question.   I prefer taking a wide grip on the bench press. I find the shorter range on the bench press with my scapula retracted offers me the correct position on the bench press. This correct position on the bench press allows me to shift the heaviest weight with the best form.  Developing a big bench press takes a lot of time.
