This is The Scientific 7 Minute Workout. These 12 exercises got a lot of press in the NY Times a few back, and it still has reason to. HIIT workouts are simply amazing and science has proved how effective they truly are. I love that the sequencing on this workout keeps switching from different muscle groups so you can keep moving through the workout with rapid succession. Now, when this was published in the American College of Sports Medicine Health and Fitness Journal they explain that you are to do each exercise for 30 seconds with a 10 second rest. And although this is a scientific workout, the math doesn't quite add up... It's more like 7 Minutes and 50 Seconds, so maybe they just rounded down... So today we will do all 12 exercises at 30 sec moving straight into the next exercise with the rapid succession it suggests. We will repeat 2 exercises twice as we will do a right and left option. This will all make sense when you do the workout. So get your Gymbosses set to 30 sec on for 14 rounds = 7 Minutes. Let's go! ▼▼▼
