'Go one more daily V2 Challenge Nick Bare | Week 1 | hybrid athlete'

'I\'m doing Nick Bare\'s (owner of BPN supplements) 8 week hybrid athlete challenge! Its called the Go One More Daily Challenge V2. Over the next 8 weeks I will be documenting my journey through this challenge.   This program is exactly what I\'ve been looking for…running and weightlifting. I have always had the impression that if I want to have a muscular physical aesthetic then running or other types of endurance training wouldn\'t be possible but after following along with Nick Bare and his training programs along with his own progress I realized that\'s just simply not the case. You can absolutely do both!   Over the next 8 weeks I\'ll be doing all the workouts and runs in this challenge and showing you the good bad and ugly. So far after week 1 I\'m feeling a little sore and getting used to the new training schedule hasn\'t been easy especially with two young kids.   My big takeaways from this week:  - Trust the process  - Get in enough food (eat more!) - Sleep is crucial - Stay positive   So far what I love about the program:  - App is user friendly and explains everything in detail/with videos - Didn\'t go too hard in week 1. Building volume - Nice balance between traditional bodybuilding style and functional training - Workouts are no longer than an hour each. Some days are two workouts most likely  As the weeks progress I\'m excited to see changes and improvements to my overall fitness. I did struggle a bit with the increase in training volume and honestly felt a little flat for a couple of the workouts. I know that with consistency, rest, and proper food intake I will be able to continue to tackle this program. I mean it is called a challenge after all. Gotta give it my all.
