'Intermediate Xtend Barre Class Preview'

For these moves you’ll need a Pilates mat, a light set of dumbbells, a chair, and a playground ball. Don’t have a ball? Roll up a towel and you’re good to go!   Parallel Stance: Stand with your feet together. Inhale and bring your arms above your head. Exhale and bend your knees while bringing your arms back down in towards your midline.   First Position Plié: From parallel stance rock your toes out to first position. Extend your arms in front of your body like you’re holding a beach ball. Bend at your knees to lower your body so your legs form a diamond.   Parallel Legs: Stand with your feet together and your arms extended in front of your body like you’re holding a beach ball. Lower your body by bending your knees.   Plié Curtsey: Stand with your feet together and rock your toes out to first position. Extend your arms in front of your body and bend your knees into a plié. Return to standing in first position. Drop your right leg back and bend your knees to curtsey. Repeat on the left side.
