They are super common and become more noticeable in handstands and overhead movements. Rib Boobs are a result of lacking shoulder mobility, rounding mid-backs/shoulders, weak abdominals, and poor postural awareness.  Nearly every Fitness model (man or woman) we see displays MASSIVE rib boobs in their movement patterns… this basically tells the viewer that they have poor body control/awareness and are relatively weak!! Do you see your lower ribs pop out as well throughout your day? The exercise in this video is awesome for teaching proper alignment of your pelvis, core, and shoulders. If you arch your back and let your rib boobs stick out while doing this, you will fall! If this is the case, don’t walk your hands as close to the wall. Make sure to press your shoulders toward the floor while keeping your armpits rotated to the wall. Spread your weight through your fingers. Engage your abdominals and glutes.  Want more help from us?
